Band History
A Lot of sites seem to get this wrong So lets get this Stariaght for the Record.

They Began In lowly suffolk, England, Plying to lowly audiences of about 10
From this, however they were recognised, and went on to record their debut album in 1994 The Principle Of Evil Made Flesh. The next year, Vempire Is recorded. After this nothing happens for a while, then they hit the press by somene being arrested for wearing one of their controvetial T shirts which says "Jesus is a Cunt" on. Many now recognised the Cradle as Satanists - an image they appear to be trying to push away from. In this same year, the fantastic Dusk And Her Embrace is released. In 1997 Nicholas Barker [drummer] was arrested for wearing the famous t-shirt. saying "whatever happened to freedom of speech?", he was thrown in jail.

All was quiet on the album front ofr the time, while the band toured and more famously, a group of Goth -Haters spent a week with them on BBC2`s "Living with the enemy". Lastly in 1999 they released the 6 track CD "From The Cradle To Enslave" along with a twisted video [see media page] to accompny it. Now, Midain their latest album has been released- when I get it on staurday expect a full review.
